Huron, OH November 16, 2007 – South Shore Marine received first place, in the established companies category, at the Golden 30 Awards for their notable enterprising spirit and success. The Awards banquet was held at the Spitzer Conference Center at Lorain County Community College where 15 emerging companies, in business for five to 14 years, and 15 established companies, in business for over 15 years, were honored. The Golden 30 recognized growing company’s demonstration of world-class performance.
Upon accepting the award, South Shore’s President Tom Mack stated, “It’s an honor to get this award. It is very humbling. Everyone who gets to this place is surrounded by great people. We are no different.” He credits such a success to being able to build the right team of energetic people who are personally invested in the company’s growth and future success.
