The 2015 Lake Erie Grady White Tournament results are in. We have set a Walleye tournament record for the largest number of boats entered (15) and the largest number of participants (71). Congratulations and thanks for the support.
The field was quite challenged by the impact of the storms earlier in the week. Eleven teams choose to try for larger but harder to catch migrating walleye in the cloudy water in the central basin. Four teams decided to fish the clearer waters with more eager to bite by not quite as large walleye in the western basin.
For a while it appeared that the Western Basin strategy was going to pay off big with all four teams in the top positions. Only two out of the eleven central basin teams were able to figure out a program to catch the central basin fish. These teams knocked the western basin out of contention and ended up finishing first and second.
